Target Iran : The Truth about the US Government's Plans for Regime Change

Writing this book was not my number one objective for 2006. However, the current affairs of the world have a way of dictating one’s actions, and this book emerged as an outgrowth of the writing and speaking I had been doing, and continue to do, about the ongoing debacle that is America’s foreign policy in the Middle East, both in regards to Iraq and, increasingly, issues pertaining to Iran, both in terms of its nuclear program and its affiliation with Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Palestine. Nevertheless, this book still would not have been written were it not for the vision and enthusiasm of Hamilton Fish, the energetic and visionary head of the Nation Institute. Ham took a concept developed over beers in a New York City restaurant and helped guide it to fruition. Thank goodness for people like Ham Fish and organizations like the Nation Institute, that are willing to support projects such as this which address critical issues and critical analysis when, almost without exception, all others shy away. I’m forever grateful for this bastion of progressive thinking to have opened its doors to a conservative such as myself.
